24-Hour Nursing Care
At Brooklyn Care we provide your loved one with ongoing 24-hour nursing care. We always have a qualified Nurse present with every shift along with her team of hand-picked carers. We offer beautiful shared ward rooms, as well as luxurious private rooms at our facility.
Medication Management & Administration
The health and safety of our residents is one of our highest priorities, this is why we blister pack all chronic medications. Medications are administered by our qualified nurses on prescribed times. All medication must be accompanied with a valid prescription.
Daily Nutritional Meals
At Brooklyn Care, we understand the need for healthy, nutritious and tasteful meals, thereby ensuring optimal health for all.
Social Activities & Events
We pride ourselves in the many social activities we offer at Brooklyn Care. The need to feel at home and connect with other residents comes with ease when partaking in our range of different activities, from making bird feeders to playing board games and building puzzles. At Brooklyn Care, we love to celebrate special days and create an event out of it, like birthdays, anniversaries and any other occasions for our residents.
Laundry & Cleaning Services
All rooms are serviced and cleaned on a daily basis, all laundry is washed, folded and returned to the rooms every day.
Beautifully Maintained Gardens
We encourage freedom of movement, and prompt our residents to enjoy some time out in our gardens for fresh air and sunshine. Taking a break in nature does wonders to ones state of mind.
Shared Living- & Dining Room
To promote social interaction: At Brooklyn Care we focus on socialising together as a family. Residents can benefit from our beautiful communal living room and dining room.
House Calls
Medical Practitioners visit residents in the comfort of their own rooms. Travelling to and from the Doctor is always a difficult task for the frail. Our resident GP and Physiotherapists makes the effort to schedule appointments in the comfort of your own room.
Dementia / Alzheimer’s
Brooklyn Care provides a peaceful, caring and safe environment for people living with dementia. We encourage our residents to participate in daily activities and to continue a healthy lifestyle.
